Margaret is a PhD student working under Dr. Kai Loon Chen in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering, Johns Hopkins University. She received her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. Margaret participated in an REU at Duke University as part of the Center for the Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology. Her research interest is advanced water treatment, specifically the application of nano and biomimetic materials in improving the functionality of water filtration membranes.
